Social Media for Local Business: Strategies & Tips to Driving Customer Channels

We decided to invite speakers who use social media in different ways so you can get a full perspective on what you can do as a local business. Marvel.com will give you the perspective of what a major brand is doing and give you advice on what you can do as well. Local Response has a platform where local business can reward people who check in and tweet about your business or a topic. They will give you unique insight into ways you can use social media to reach and engage your customers. The Advertising Research Foundation will give you statistics and facts about what major social media agencies are doing and how The ARF have been successful using social media as well.

Panelist

Some of the questions include:

  • How do I grow followers and “likes”?
  • What types of content are engaging?  Why is engagement so important?
  • Who should be posting to my accounts?  Can I really outsource it and be successful?  What’s the key to getting help?
  • How do I get started?   What’s the first thing I should do?

We will be taking some examples of which local businesses are doing social media well and we will be giving free consultations to a couple local businesses who RSVP and request a free analysis here.  We’ll use them as Case Studies so you can see very specific advice and tactics that could work for you!

So join us and join the discussion and we will bring the coffee and breakfast.
